IC Information;
Character Name; Kadar Al-Sayf
Canon; assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/ Assassin's Creed
Canon Point; Just after dying.
Age; Early 20s, estimated.
House; Sigyn! While a house like Thor might be a more obvious surface fit, due to his nature as an Assassin, Kadar is an Assassin because he believes in people and wants to help them -- an Assassin's job is to help the people and help them remain free and capable of gaining their own knowledge, and he would gladly give his life to do so.
Power; Healing.
Personality; Kadar Al-Sayf is a Novice, both in rank and in personality. He wears the gray outfit that signifies this, and is shown not to be entirely trusted within the Assassin Order: he inquires of Altaïr, a fellow Assassin, just what their mission is, because he was not entrusted with the specifics. Altaïr does inform him of more about what they went to Solomon's Temple for, and Kadar accepts the information with a cheerful excitement. He's ready to do whatever he can to help. Despite not yet being ranked as high as possible, he wields a hidden blade and other weapons that are only given to Assassins that have proven themselves skilled, capable, and dedicated. While his capability may not be as high as the Master Assassins, the highest ranked within the Order, he's certainly a force to be reckoned with when viewed from an objective standpoint.
Kadar has all the traits an Assassin needs, in varying quantities. He is strong, not just in strength but also in mind. Death and killing does not upset him the way that it would most people who were unused to it, even if it might be an unnessecary death. There is always time to react and mourn later, when you're not in the thick of battle; the time is never immediately after, when you need to make your escape and finish your duty. He reacts quickly in battle, proving his prowess with multiple weapons: the hidden blade, the sword, and throwing knives. He is dedicated to both his Order and his brothers within it. He follows Altaïr into battle without hesitation or question, even when the numbers are against them, because five to three is infinitely preferable to five to one and letting one of his companions take the fall. He is obedient and follows orders as he is given them from his superiors. Any questions he has, he asks, but he will accept denials of information easily. He shows respect where it is due, to those that are better than he in both skill and experience. If someone is ranked more highly than he, they deserve to be revered.
His style as an Assassin isn't quite what's generally advised. While not someone who likes killing, he enjoys doing his job. He enjoys the heat of battle and the rush of victory, and would prefer to be in the midst of a battle or jumping out at someone than stealthily poisoning someone or murdering them from behind before they properly notice. He isn't careless, despite his preferences. He knows his own limits and his own abilities, and strives to better them, not get himself killed.
Curiousity is something that, while not strictly encouraged, is something Kadar has in droves. He wants to learn more, and walks a fine line of remaining respectful and obedient while still striving to gain more information. He can be viewed as a bit gullible-- he immediately queries if an object they see is the Ark of the Covenant, which Altaïr quickly shoots down as just a story. In the same way, he seems to view Altaïr as a very good Assassin, despite the older man's arrogance (and his brother's advice to the contrary).
Taking things in stride is something that comes easily to Kadar. Being a lower rank than his brother, than Altaïr, doesn't phase him in the slightest; nor do small slights against himself. He will follow and learn in doing so, because that's what he should be doing, and he enjoys doing it. If he fails, it's something that he's done wrong and must therefore overcome.
Despite how protective his older brother Malik is, Kadar is quite independent. He loves and trusts his older brother, but still admires Altaïr when his brother can't stand him, he asks questions when his brother would have him be silent, and he perfects his own methodology instead of riding on Malik's more experienced maneuvers. More than anything, Kadar fears losing Malik. With their parents gone, the brothers ultimately only have each other, and as independent as he is, Kadar would take Malik's death quite hard. It would almost certainly have devestating consequences.
In the end, Kadar is a cheerful Assassin who is dedicated to his cause with passion and excitement. He went down in a proper Assassin fashion: fighting for his own life and that of his brother. While he ultimately lost the former, his brother escaped, and so Kadar can rest in peace. Or could have, anyway...

Network Sample; Hello? I -- I do not understand. Why have I been trapped here? The woman-- the woman without a face, what... happened to her? [he has a million theories, and all of them are equally horrifying.]
This cannot be the afterlife! It is unlike anything I have ever heard from anyone. Is it true what the letter said? That I am here in order to preserve this world? I do not know this world, and the one that I am from, I-- [he breaks off abruptly, sounding a little choked. he falls silent for a moment.]
Is anyone here? I have not seen anyone... not-- not a real person. I am sorry for my interruption, but I am so confused, I...
[he trails off for a long moment, and then, finally, with a bit of hope in his voice--] Is there a man by the name of Malik here? Or-- or Altaïr? Or Rauf?
Log Sample; I know I didn't strictly need once since I'm already in-game, but I threw it up just in case you wanted one.
Kadar did Not Want to do the Leap of Faith that was in front of him. The last time he'd done it he had failed spectacularly. And-- sure, everyone said that the Novices would all fail the first time, it was part of learning, it was building character, part of the test was trying again, but he'd sprained his ankle so badly he couldn't train for a week and a half. He did not want a repeat of that. Not by any means, measure, or leap of the imagination.
Leaps of imagination. Leaps of faith. This Leap of Faith, in fact, that he was coming closer and closer to and-- oh. That was Kamil. That was the sound of Kamil yelling in pain. Kadar peered over the edge of the Masyaf wall, carefully-- yes, he'd broken a leg. He'd missed the haystack entirely.
Kadar swallowed. It was his turn now. With Kamil out of the way and no one behind him, no one would see him fail but his teacher. But if he ran, word would spread... He couldn't let that happen. He couldn't do that to his brother, not after all the time Malik had spent training Kadar and making sure that even if he was a novice, he was the best novice there was. Kadar took a breath. Relaxed his posture, just like they'd taught him. Positioned himself. Closed his eyes and let himself fall.
He really hoped he didn't miss.
